In a typical project recovery, we follow proven disciplines to reaffirm
the objectives and scope of the project with the sponsors and the
stakeholders. We briefly determine what went wrong and why and establish
what is salvageable.
The forward recovery plan is reviewed with the project board and sponsor
to gain support and agree any alternatives and additions that may be
pursued. In some cases, we may need to jointly rework the requirements
specification for accuracy and understanding.
